Eating the gooey coconut rice cake from my husband’s grandmother’s recipe, I was transported to a time when life was so simple and vibrant.

I immigrated to the United States when I was 5 years old from Vietnam. My parents risked everything in the hopes of something better for their family. Their journey to America was treacherous in a small boat over rough ocean waters. They overcame many obstacles and have been survivors.

Life is always better with a little sweetness...

Our History

At an early age, I was tasked with cooking for the family since her parents were working to make ends meet. It has been my calling to cook and make wonderful food for friends and family. After 20 years of wanting to build a bakery, my sister and I decided to create something delicious, enjoyable, and fun. Sweet P’s Desserts was born.
